What made you decide to rent a camper van?
We had a great time renting a camper van before, so we thought about renting one in Kagoshima to coincide with our homecoming.
Main destinations?
Amakusa ~ Shimabara Unzen ~ Nagasaki (Gunkanjima, Ikeshima Coal Mine) ~ Yanbiko
Although I’m originally from Kagoshima, I traveled to Amakusa and Shimabara areas that I had never visited before.
Since many of the places were hard to reach by public transportation, the camper van trip was a perfect fit.
We enjoyed fresh local fish bought from supermarkets every day and indulged in hot springs daily, creating wonderful memories.

A family camper van trip is simply a lot of fun.
Even just renting for one or two nights is a great idea! You’ll get hooked!
