Mt. KAIMON (Kaimon-dake)
It takes 1 hour from Kagoshima City (2 hours from Kagoshima Airport) by car.
The dormant volcano’s height is 924 meters above sea level.
Mt. Kaimoan has a nick-name “Satsuma Fuji” or Mt. Fuji in Kagoshima because of its beautiful shape.
It is common that people go to the second station of the mountain by a car before starting climbing up to the top.

You can climb to the top of mountain in 2.5 hours.
At the top, you can see the beautiful landscape of East China Ocean and Ibusuki City.
If the weather if fine, you can see Yakushima (Yaku Islanad) in the distance.
