Kagoshima-Chuo Stationis the stating point of your trip in Kagoshima!
The station is the final stop of the Kyushu Shinkansen which starts from Hakata Station (Fukuoka Prefecture). The station is the most southern Shinkansen station in Japan.
The video is the scenery of arrival of Shinkansen “Sakura” at Kagoshima Chuo Station.
The station is the starting point of your travel in Kagoshima.
I took the following video at the evening. The street was busy because it was rush hour when people get home from work.
The station is beautifully lighten up.
Big Ferris AMURAN
The symbol of the station is a big Ferris on the top of AMU Plaza.
Surprisingly each floor of boxes of Ferris is transparent. Since I am scared of the height, my feet trembled when I got the Ferris. My wife laughed at me…
However, the scenery is wonderful from the Ferris (highest point is about 91m). You can enjoy spectacular view of Mt. Sakurajima and Kagoshima City.
The fare is 500 yen for 1 adult. You can enjoy 15 minutes of air life.
Speaking of AMU Plaza Kagoshima, I really love to go to GODIVA shop at 1st floor and enjoy its delicious Choco Lixir!
Kagoshima City View Bus
Kagoshima City View Bus starts at the East 4 bus stop of Kagoshima Chuo Station. I took the picture of the bus arriving at the stop for you!
