Get Map at Tourst Information Center
Please get a brochure of the gourge which is located near the big shrine gate of Kirishima Jingu Shrine.
You can also check the course of the gorge on internet, but it doesn’t reflect the temporary area of no trespassing. So, please check the course at information course before you start walking the gorge.
Tozaki Waterfall
There is a parking lot for 2 cars under Tozaki Bridge.
We parked our car and started walking.
It is pleasant to walk surrounded by beautiful nature.
After walking 50 meters, we found a water fall.
You can visit the waterfall with wheelchair or baby car.
You will feel cool if you visit the waterfall in summer.
We could not go further due to landslide, so we drived to another entry point of Kirishima Shinsui Gorge.
National Park Monument
戸崎橋のすぐ近くに、国立公園記念碑がひっそりとたたずんでいます。
Following photo showas a pond behind the monument. The water is very clean.
Parking Lot
We parked our car at this place and started walking.
There are many stairs and it is not suitable for wheelchair or baby car.
There is a Kirishima Shinsui Gorge under those stairs.

It is really astonishing.
Our Comment
There is no steep slope and the road is suitable for walking.
If road is wet, the road is slippery. Please wear walking shoes.
